Faith Publications is dedicated to teaching the precious truths that God reveals in the Bible. We are especially concerned about truths related to salvation.
We try to explain these truths in ways that are easy for everyone to understand. And we support every significant statement with relevant Bible verses.
It’s unfortunate that many churches today have drifted away from important truths that not long ago were taught as fundamentals of Christianity. Many people today don’t know these truths or don’t know why they’re true and why they’re so important to our salvation as well as our everyday lives.
Other people who know these truths need resources to help them teach the truths to their children in ways their children can understand. Supporting these people is a high priority for Faith Publications.
Regarding our beliefs, it’s easy to publish a “statement of faith” that repeats commonly accepted doctrines that most evangelicals believe. A problem with this is that the statements are usually so brief. They leave out much that other people must know to really understand what the authors are saying.
Readers must assume the authors mean certain things when they use certain words, but in reality the authors may mean something completely different. So it's easy to hide false beliefs in a statement of faith.
If you want to know the beliefs of Faith Publications, read the article “Hidden Danger in Christian Children’s Books” and the book Teach Me About Jesus. Those documents are our statement of faith. Our beliefs couldn’t be any more clear than in those documents.
Note: Unless otherwise stated, all quotations of the Bible in this website and related publications are from the Authorized (King James) Version.
The problem with brevity is also true for a topic about how to be saved. The truths that people must understand to be really saved can’t be easily condensed into a few paragraphs or a “Romans Road” consisting of a handful of verses from the book of Romans. There’s nothing inherently wrong with those things. They just don’t provide all that most people need to know.
If you really want to know how to be saved, read the book Teach Me About Jesus. That’s the best answer we can give (other than read the Bible). It’s written to be understood by children, but there’s no reason why adults can’t learn from it as well.
The arrow in the logo has the following meanings:
We believe children need the truth as much as adults do. God doesn't have different truths for children than He does for adults.
The truths about salvation can be explained in words that are appropriate for children without diluting or changing the message. This means the truths taught in this website and related publications are equally valid for children and adults.
The truth is important for children for two reasons:
If people learn false ideas when they're young, it's difficult to correct those ideas after they become adults. This is one reason why churches today have so many adults who know little real biblical truth. And much of what they do know is based on childish fables that aren't adequate to save anyone.
